Tim the Sneaker by Saimain Tim the Sneaker by Saimain
It has been far, far too long since I've drawn Tim! His last decent portrait was back in...2002? [link] ^__^; His hair is still as wild as ever, and festooned with leaves and twigs as part of his "camouflage," as he calls it. His kind, the Marcale, have greenish, mottled skin to allow them to blend well with the loam of the forest floor and elude even the most watchful of enemies. Tim is the best of the best when it comes to spying, which is how he got the name "sneaker."

You can learn more about Tim and my other characters in the "Wars of Avenan" section of my website: [link]

Colored version can be found here:

I like this pencil version better than the coloured one. Something about his expression is better visible here, so I can relate to the character more.

I love his eye, by the way. His whole face reminds me of a small animal, maybe similar to the one he's holding, something akin to a rabbit, and that eye makes most of the effect.

But I think he'd quickly convince me he's not as timid and meek as a bunny! :D

Because you uploaded both the pencil drawing and the finished work, I noticed the reason I tend to prefer pencils from you. You've put the focus in all the right places, but when you colored it, much of that was lost. I don't look where I feel I should.

Fun character, though; I hope we get to see more of him. :)
