An overdue trade with =NadezhdaVasile of her Character Thadras, a tempermental fire dragon who also has a human-like form. This took me the longest time to finish, heh. I hated the first sketch attempt, and let it sit for a month or three, then went back and changed his face and finally decided to finish it. I was going for a mid-transformation look, but I fail at scales. I also couldn't figure out if his hair was blondish or dark red, and I probably over-shaded it, but...I hope you like anyway, Serena! Sorry for the long wait! ^__^;;

Mechanical pencil and blending stick; texture added with Photoshop.

What a piece! The scales ( which are marvelous, no matter what you think), the hair, the fire, the expression--wow, the expression!

He just has this mischievous look as he begins to change to his dragon form..."Oh yes, I do have a secret."

It's amazing how fluid the transition from skin to scales is. As usual, very well done. I envy your talent.
