So yes, New Years Day I spent the entirety of sketching. And eating after-Christmas-sale chocolate. But this is not what I was sketching. I was actually in the middle of another elaborate forest-themed piece (which I also hope to post before I leave) when Morgan anvil-dropped this on me--I couldn't reach for a clean sheet of paper fast enough! Morgan's been so demanding on the artwork for the past few months, and he apparently wanted to have the first sketch of 2009, as well.

And Morgan usually gets what he wants.

The facial expressions make this one--her, looking somewhere between frightened and pleased, him, something between desire and... I don't know. (I get the impression that he may not know either...) Powerful emotion.
