Question, do you usually draw the designs in the background on a separate piece of paper and then Luke on another, and then merge them both?

No, the character and designs are all worked out on one piece of paper.

This is as amazing as it's companion piece! I love your lineart even more than the colored versions. Not that the colored art isn't beautiful, it's just that your lineart is some of the most amazing I've ever seen!

I saw the coloured version of this too, but this one seems to be more beautiful, somehow. His hair is absolutely gorgeous, and you have the most wonderfully clean lines :3 Love the patterns on his clothes and the background too!
