So I'll...um...just leave this here...
There is no excuse for this, except my intense freaking out during the wait for the Doctor Who season finale this weekend! ^__^;;; Had to paint something to relieve the stress before I imploded. I love Eleven to death (augh) and never, ever intended this, nor do I ever want to see it happen, but it just sort of...threw itself onto the canvas and now I feel better.
[Edit: AND SO two weeks after I paint this Matt Smith announces that he's leaving Doctor Who. We'll see his Doctor regenerate this Christmas! *crying forever*]

Other Doctor Who artwork:
The first one that came true was a sketch I hadn't posted online, showing my thoughts on the Doctor's new companion Clara. Basing her on Oswin (half a year before we knew the connection between those two characters), I sketched her dragging Eleven around by the hand, in contrast to Eleven's having dragged Amy about the previous years. And when the Christmas Special came around, that is exactly what she did!
The Second one was "Oncoming Storm." My depiction of a dark Doctor reminiscent of the Valyard, what pain and loss and despair would ultimately drive him to. And in "Name of the Doctor," this was confirmed: “The Doctor lives his life in darker hues, day upon day. He will have other names before the end: Storm, the Beast, the Valyard.” “The Cruel Tyrant, the slaughterer of ten billion, the Vessel of the Final Darkness…”
Then lastly this one, "Regeneration." I was under the assumption that Matt Smith had signed on for another year, as BBC had previously stated, and I was just painting this to get out all my anxiety about the season finale. And then, less than two weeks after I post it.... x_X;;
(There was also the fact that I was depicting River and the Doctor being married before S7 confirmed that they'd honored their marriage and were calling themselves husband and wife, but that was an easy one.)
