One of five masquerade-themed commission portraits for =The-Dragon-keeper! This one is Paelon, a prince of Omaega, one of the four kingdoms surrounding Atlantis from her stories. I pulled way, way too many hours on research and details, but given my increasing fascination with the ocean, that's all right. ^__^; I tried to pack a little of everything into here, including some of my favorite shells, anemonies and starfish in place of flowers, and a barnacle-and-seaweed cloak, hee.

Gorgeous! Only problem is that you say this is a prince. No matter how I look at it, I see a girl. The hair, face, and fashion (epecially the collar) is very feminine. The only thing that really says 'masculine' is the bit of flat chest you can see in the lower right corner (assuming, of course, that it's not just a shirt). Excellent detail, but some gender confusion.

Wow late response  just going through my commission folder for a recap and noticed your comment :D
He's definitely a boy, boy being the operative word there, he's young and not quite into puberty yet so yeah, he does appear very feminine. What you see in the lower right corner is his tattoo, although it would be more accurate to call it a birthmark. Everything is pretty well spot on to what I referenced for him and I know I'm not gender confused, I'd say its more predominant due to the nature of the masquerade theme/series.

Sorry for the rant  he's one of my pride and joys lol :D
