I opened up both pieces from the trade in two separate windows, and I must say, it was really cool to see the two pieces side by side with their similar structure and color palate. I've had you both on my watch list for quite some time now, and I was looking at the step-by-step by Gold-Seven and was like (before reading the description, mind) "Say... that looks like one of Saimain's characters!" I was right. ^__^

i like the fact that it's not as polished as your other digital portraits, as well as the coloring, especially around his eyes and on his nose, has a traditional look in it, like it was done with watercolors or pencils
lol this'll probably be really offensive as its not the right character, but the second i saw this beautiful piece it made me think of how a young Lupin would look from the Harry Potter series. anyway, its as stunning as usual, and like all your others i sat drinking the image in for a long while.
