SHE DREW THE LINEART and I painted it. It was a challenge to do because our styles are so different, and I've never painted a shoreline before. I'm glad of the experience, though. After two weeks of study and mindless frustration and even a dizzy spell, I have finally learned how to paint waves. *falls asleep from exhaustion* Many thanks to Stef for her help!

"The girl had a brother, a very silent child, he was found in the forest clearing at night when he was just an infant and the girl's family raised him as their own son. He had a mark on his forehead - a star. He often went to the seaside and picked glimmering stones and shells into a small sack (on the picture the girl holds it in her hands, 'cause the boy left it on the sand) which his sister sewed for him and gave it to him on his seventh birthday. He liked to pick the stones at night because they sparkled like stars in the bright moonlight. And one day he didn't come back home. He had wanted to reach the real stars and gone too far into the ocean..."
