Finally got this one cleaned up properly and scanned! Fixed some anatomy issues, added butterfly wings and other details into his cloak. Faeren was far too cutesy in my last piece, so that became my excuse to practice some serious semi-realism on him. And he liked that idea so much he took his tunic off for me (though he kept his cloak, hee). You can see all the plant-like veins on his skin now. Not sure if I want to paint this one or just leave it sketchy linework...heh, maybe I'll do both one of these days! Too much other work to do in the meantime, though. ^_^;;

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. (and, funny coincidence, I've been drawing lately one of my characters in the same position showing his back covered with giraffe stains... but Faeren's much better. ^^)
