"I seem to be able to fly her… She showed me how."~River Song
A commissioned sketch-painting of River and Idris, showing the unseen moment in the S6 ep: “Let’s Kill Hitler” when River enters the TARDIS alone and hears her for the first time, after being told by the Doctor that she is “the child of the TARDIS.”
This is so beautiful, even though u didn't use much colors! It's also very emotional (like all of ur arts) because River's the Doctor's wife so she's important to the TARDIS too, besides River's kinda her child.
amazing art! could look at your River and Eleven stuff all night! I like this one because I always thought that the Tardis, in her wisdom, created River for the Doctor, a gift for her Thief to keep him from being alone......
I love your artwork so much. River and the Doctor are amazing, and you portray them perfectly! Great job, I am just blown away. You make the Doctor look so... Soft. I don't know how to explain it, but its interesting seeing him like that.
No. Amy and Rory are River's parents, but they, u know, "made" her in the TARDIS, which made her a half Time Lord and she could be called the child of the TARDIS. And she's the Doctor's wife. The title of the episode where Idris was in ("The Doctor's Wife") is just figurative. The Doctor and the TARDIS aren't in love like that.
