Faeren and the Mistress of Illusion, the embodiment of the Forest that shelters and imprisons him. She holds and guards him like a jealous lover while he sleeps, but during the day she appears to him only as a little golden-white creature. He calls her Snoots and considers her a pet, but I think perhaps the opposite is true...

It is absolutely beautiful!!! I can't get over how much detail you put into nature, let alone your characters! I've got a ways to go...hehe! ^_^

I just love this picture !

The expression on Faerens features is so vivid.
He looks so heartbreakingly trusting and innocent- you just want to shut him away from all evil in the world.

I can't stop looking at this. It's wonderful.

Now I would never have guessed that about Snoots . . . mind, the humanlike face should have been a clue. There is a wonderful ammount of detail: enough to be intricate but not enough to confuse, especially in the fauna covering the Mistress and Faeren. I like their expressions: Faeren';s sleepy look, a prisoner who doesn't know he's imprisoned (this makes me think of Plato's theory of the cave in a way) and her large dark eyes which have an expression which I cannot fully understand: love? possessiveness? I'll be sure to look at the finished piece. Oh yeah, almsot ofrgot: beautiful job with teh ands: the proportions are spot on.

Well it is definately obvious that you have spent a lot of time on this, the detail on it is simply beautiful. Its also interesting to find out more about the character of Snoots. This is once again excellent work!
