"You are seared onto my hearts, Amelia Pond. You always will be. I’m running to you…before you fade from me." -The Doctor.
Eleven and his Amy. Alternate title: “Across the Universe,” because the style and color scheme are inspired by the movie of the same title (which is quite possibly my favorite thing in the history of ever.) Painted with watercolor, colored pencil, paint-pen, pencil, and a bit of digital editing.
Well, I guess it depends on what you mean by love. I always thought of Amy being like The Doctor's little sister. He may not had romantic feelings for her but she was very precious to him and loved her dearly, he would do anything to comfort and protect her. With River, he had some romantic feelings for her but he'd never love her as much as he loved Amy and Rory and she'd never have the place in his hearts that Amy and Rory had. The only person (in the new series anyway) that The Doctor loved or was precious to him as Amy and Rory was Rose; with Rose there were romantic undertones between them but that wasn't what made their relationship so special.
You know what I find most fascinating about this? That you manage to capture his lack of eyebrows so well. I've thought about trying to draw some Doctor Who fanart recently - but I think his eyebrows will defeat me!
Clicking through all your Doctor stuff right now, and loving it. ^^
Wait...does every doctor have a chick now or what? I'm not really a doctor who fan, but I was raised around my dad watching Tom Baker. I have no idea what's going on anymore. I know there's like some tragic love stories n' stuff going on, but I thought there was only one from what I can tell from what most fans tell me. So I'm lost.
Every Doctor has several different companions, yes. They are each special to him in different ways. He's 1200+ years old now and on his 11th regeneration, so he's met (and lost) quite a few people! ^__^;;
